Springtime bass fishing in North Georgia can be a challenge. With the waters warming, the fish are wanting to get something to eat and a Chatterbait makes a great choice for large-mouth and other bass.
Chatterbait
The pros call these "bladed jigs". But the original Chatterbaits are among my favorite. Chatterbaits consists of a weighted jig and a blade that hooks to the front. The blade causes the jig to flutter underwater to the point that it makes a chatter.
The water displacement is less than a regular spinner bait but more than just a jig alone. It adds flash and water displacement to any jig.
