Lake Lanier is full of spotted bass. From the north end to the south end of the the lake, spotted bass seem to rule the waters. They make an awesome

spring-time target. Catching dozens of bass on an ideal day is not uncommon.
SHAKY-HEAD RIG & FLUKE
A shaky-head rig and a fluke are among my favorite bait to catch spotted bass in the spring. Around boat docks is a good place to look for them.
Spotted bass roam around in little wolf-packs, so when you find one, there is likely to be more.
